Titanium dioxide pigments
1 Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, judgment of inspection results, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of titanium dioxide pigments.
This standard is applicable to titanium dioxide pigments produced by sulfuric acid method or chlorination method. This product is mainly used in paints, rubber, plastic, ink and paper making industries.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.

titanium dioxide pigments
pigment consisting essentially of titanium dioxide (TiO2) of the anatase or the rutile crystal structure, as determined by X-ray examination
4 Product classification
4.1 Types
This standard covers two types of titanium dioxide pigment, as follows:
Type A: Anatase type;
Type R: Rutile type.
4.2 Grades
The pigments are further classified into the following grades:
Type A: A1, A2.

3 術語和定義
本標準采用下列術語和定義：

二氧化鈦顏料 titanium dioxide pigments
由X-射線法測定的晶體結構主要為銳鈦型或金紅石型的二氧化鈦(TiO2)組成的顏料。
4 產品分類
4.1 型號
本標準包括以下兩種類型的二氧化鈦顏料：
A型：銳鈦型；
R型：金紅石型。
4.2 品種
顏料可進一步分為下列品種：
A型：A1、A2。
R型：R1、R2、R3。
5 特性要求和容許范圍
5.1 外觀
應為軟質干燥粉末或在不加研磨下用調刀易于碾碎。
5.2 其他特性
5.2.1 符合本標準的二氧化鈦顏料，其基本要求規定于表1，條件要求規定于表2。條件要求將由有關雙方規定。
表2中預處理后105℃揮發物為商定項目，只有當有關方面明確規定或有合同約定時才進行。
5.2.2 表2中所指商定的參比樣應符合表1中要求。
