1 Scope
This part of GB 7300 specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as labelling, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life of methionine hydroxy analogue for feed additives.
This part is applicable to methionine hydroxy analogue of feed additives produced through chemical synthesis with acrolein, methyl mercaptan and hydrocyanic acid as the main raw materials.

3 Requirements
3.1 Appearance and property
This product is a brown or dark brown viscous liquid with a special odor and is highly soluble in water.
Warning: This product is highly corrosive. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. If it accidentally comes into contact with skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
3.2 Technical indexes
The technical indexes of methionine hydroxy analogue shall meet those specified in Table 1.
